E-leva has gained access to the World Intellectual Property Organization Alert platform

We are proud to announce that we have signed an agreement with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a specialized United Nations agency based in Geneva, Switzerland. Founded in 1967, WIPO’s mission is to promote the protection of intellectual property globally through cooperation among member states and the development of international intellectual property regulations.

Specifically, we have obtained access to the WIPO Alert platform, a secure online system that compiles lists of websites infringing copyright. Created by WIPO in 2019, this platform allows advertisers, advertising agencies, and intermediaries to prevent ads from being placed on pirate sites. These sites not only infringe copyright but often expose users to malware and fraud, posing significant risks to consumers and to the integrity of brands associated with them.

OUR COMMITMENT TO ETHICAL ADVERTISING PRACTICES

Thanks to our collaboration with WIPO, we will be able to consult and use this data to avoid funding illegal sites and protect our clients’ reputations. This agreement strengthens our commitment to ethical advertising practices and marks a step forward in the fight against online piracy on an international scale.

This milestone means a great deal to us, not only from an ethical and moral standpoint but also because we are on the front lines in combating sites that violate intellectual property rights. The WIPO Alert platform represents an innovative solution that enables the advertising industry to self-regulate without the need for additional legislative intervention, with the goal of reducing revenue flow to sites that infringe intellectual property rights.
