Palazzo Perticari | Business website
Palazzo Perticari is a palace in the historic center of Pesaro owned by the Perticari Counts family. The palace, dating back to the 1700s, was restored to its former glory by Franco Signoretti, an entrepreneur from Pesaro, with meticulous restoration work completed in 2022. Now the palace is the headquarters of the Franco Signoretti art library and the private art collection of the owner named Costanza Monti.
The client asked us to create a website to convey the history and artistic-cultural value of the palace to the citizens of Pesaro, scholars, and art enthusiasts. For the development of the site, we started with a predefined theme that we customized following the client’s requests: presentation of the exhibition spaces of the Palace, ticketing system for events, section dedicated to the restoration project.
For the website’s graphics, we followed a clean and linear line with neutral and soft colors in harmony with the rooms and exteriors of the palace. A graceful font was used in line with the historical-cultural importance represented by Palazzo Perticari. Everything was completed with the use of evocative images to show site visitors the entire magnificence of the palace and the works preserved.
The site was developed in WordPress, and the entire process followed the graphic proposal step by step. The highlight of the site is the section dedicated to events that will be hosted in the palace rooms. For this section, we developed a ticketing system to allow users to book their entrance to the scheduled events. As requested by the client, on every event page, the user can choose the date, time, and seat through an intuitive interface: a map indicating the available and already occupied seats. Once the booking is made, the user will receive a virtual ticket to be delivered at the entrance.
To complete the project, we wrote all the texts, working synergistically with the museum curator, Dr. Maria Maddalena Paolini, for the choice of style and topics to address. Every page content was written following historical and artistic notions to engage the user in reading.
